The new 4th generation Santa Cruz Nomad has just been launched. An all-new carbon frame with more travel, even better pedal-efficiency and adjustable geometry takes Santa Cruz's most desirable bike to another level. The Nomad C is available with three different build kits to suit your budget and riding style.
The Santa Cruz Nomad now has adjustable geometry thanks to a flip chip. This alters the head angle, seat tube angle and BB height.
- Head tube angle: 64.6 - 65 degrees
- Seat tube angle: 74.1 - 75 degrees
- Bottom bracket height: 339mm - 344mm
The seat-tube is shorter allowing greater stand-over height and is deigned to make use of the longer dropper seatposts now available. This gives the rider more manoeuvrability plus it looks cooler. The rear shock has gone metric - the latest industry 'standard'. Because of the new shock position on the Nomad, Santa Cruz have built in a shock protector to keep mud and gunk flicking into it. There's also a direct-mount rear brake, a first for Santa Cruz.
As with all Santa Cruz carbon frames, the Nomad has a lifetime warranty on the frame. Santa Cruz are fully confident in their frames even those like the Nomad that are going to be flying down some very rough terrain. Other manufacturers do not offer this.
The Santa Cruz Nomad C is available as three build options. The R and S build plus the all-new XE build.
